Wow I really needed this ( as evidenced by the fact that I'm can't sleep at 5:30 in the morning on a work night stressing over one very annoying _aspect_ of my job).

I need to just have tunnel vision and try to focus on the 40% I do like.

One hundred percent on the mark, Raj.

When I hold all my jobs up to the light, it seems like the one’s I enjoyed the most were the one’s I have so many fond memories of, remembering all the cool things I worked on and did. The trick is keeping in mind all the great things that happen to you at your job, and allowing time to take care of “forgetting” the difficulties you experience and/or learning how to avoid those difficulties in the future.

Totally agree. There is a reason they call it work. If it wasn’t hard, they wouldn’t have to cut you a check to show up.

I’m a big fan of finding work that you really like, do well, and can reap enough rewards to allow you to do what you love in your personal time.
