one bus away website
What?
Windows desktop client that works with http://www.onebusaway.org to display reminders when your bus is approaching your stop.
Why?
I just got tired of missing my bus by one minute by not remembering to check the website as I was leaving work. Instead I wanted an application to visually remind me when my bus (the 49) was 3 minutes away from my stop.
Also I really wanted an excuse to learn Python, and this seemed like a good enough reason.
How?
Small little Python application that sits on the desktop and with a little configuration wakes up and checks the website every minute until the configured bus has hit the configured stop.
What do you have so far?
