I am super proud my dad has become CEO of Moser Baer Photovoltaic (MBPV).  Though I don’t get to see him as much with his job primarily being in India, I am really happy he is bringing his expertise in Thin Film solar cell manufacturing to India.  He is putting together a team of engineers from India that would have probably had to travel abroad to pursue their solar careers just a few years ago (much like my dad had to 30+ years ago).  I haven’t written in a long time, but wanted to make sure this news spread as quickly as possible.

• I went sledding this afternoon with my wife for the first time down my street in Seattle. It was a blast. Apparently I am not that lame. #

• Boxee is alive and kicking. Loving it connected to the recently acquired 46″ LCD TV. Updating addresses and junk like that. #
• Just watched my first episode of “House” using Boxee from Hulu. Why do I need to sign up for cable TV? Oh yeah, the sports. #

• Desktop computer at home lives! #

• Watched the residents of Seattle come together to help each other through the snow this morning. Faith in human race being good restored. #
• Found headphones last night, brought into work, thanks @willmeyer for getting me to buy these. Sound quality difference is apparent. #

• Our stuff is in the new apartment. Still figuring out how to heat the apartment while unpacking boxes. Soon my computer will live again! #

• @sunilgarg Ugh! That sucks. Annoying that Dreamhost sent out the panic ‘data lost’ email before exhaustively trying to recover the data. #

• @FluidHire Good luck Ian, and keep in touch. #
• Any good tools you all have found for pseudocode and idea formation? Please don’t say Visio or I might vomit. Vim for now. #
